Week 2 of Morning’s at Seven has been exciting photographing my garden (see how the Agapanthus are changing), camping and experimenting with a macro lens. The camp was with our group of churches – about 2000 people – and I think of it as Glastonbury for Christians. Even though camping is not my holiday of choice it was spiritually uplifting and there were some fascinating derelict buildings that were crying out to be photographed. A friend on camp lent me his macro lens for a day and I felt as if I was entering a new dimension, the cutthroat world of ladybirds and spiders. I was literally seeing life from a new perspective.
